so its rainning..i take my car for a spin..i dont think i hit any puddles..then al of a sudden..i notice my speedo not working and my rpm high and jumping up n down in neutrol..wat could b the problem?? please help honda tech!! thanks!

I'm having the same problem with a 97 Civic....replaced the VSS to no avail, and the lights are "surging" suggesting a alternator problem...
