MPFI swap. Si parts mandatory?
I would like to go MPFI on the d15b2 in my '88 sedan and it looks like it's gonna take some fairly obscure junk to do. Most notably '88-91 Si dist. and intake.
Can you not use any old multi point d-series intake because it doesnt have obd0 sensors or something? I also see mentioned you can use parts from '88-89 integra like ECU and resistor box. Will it's distributor and intake not work? I know of 2 complete 88 integras in the junkyard but don't think i've ever seen a junked Si that still has a motor.
So yeah. Let me know if any of you have this junk lying around and want to sell, feel free to shoot me a PM.

what the hell? 3 posts about mpfi swap in one day.. this is getting stupid.. check out the faq thread at the top. is it just me or is this stupid? and you cant post things you want to buy... thats what the market place is for.
yeah, search is your friend.
unless you are converting to OBD-1, you must have a dizzy off of an Si or HF (or OBD-0 SOHC ZC). the Integra has a different intake manifold and distributor - they will not fit. you can use intake manis off any SOHC D-series, as far as i know.
i used a Z6 intake manifold (let me use the map sensor on the TB instead of the firewall) and a ZC distributor on my swap.

That is actually the link that prompted the question. It says you can just use a 'mpfi manifold'.
I was under the impression the Si was a fairly rare car, and with so many people doing the swap it seems like Si parts have gotten expensive and somewhat hard to come by, although I have found everything i need locally except for the distributor..
