me and my friend just bough a awd crx that some guy made... we are going to get it on wednesday. we're going to repair and re-ingeneer the thing... everything is supposed to be working. only thing is that the guy killed himself this summer so no answer from him i guess.. his mother sold us the car for 200$ canadian. i'll let you know what happens next.
our project is to turbo that little thing, but with a small budget.

edit: forgot to say that it's got the wagovan diff and tranny so it's not that half-***.. things that i cant wait to see are gas tank, carrier bearing and rear suspension arms...
3 guy around town have already done that (awd civic) 1 eg 2 ef one of the crx alreaduy made was with a crv tranny ang turbo gsr engien, that thing was crazy in snow crx

it would be cool to do this with a d series, but doesnt the wagon drivetrain only put like %10-%15 to the back wheels or something

 

yea i did a '89 civic wagavan 4-AWD i was going to do the h-to-d swap to keep the tranny cuz it was manual but found a CRV AWD stick and got that its now B20 V-tec allmotor and we went throw so meny axels in the rear (tire hoping) but we launch it like shep ride it out.. we pulled a T'type regal on m/t out of the hole.... i go to work in it and see a mustang and run it down and line up .. as hes laughing i put on the hazards hahaha .... then i rev up to launch cotrol about 5500 and i slip the clutch and pull a full two car out on him lol hes pisst lol ** you guys are going to have fun with that car "cant wait to see it".....ill send you some pics of mine""

were going to get the car tomorrow, should be fun, but there a snow storm today hope it will not delay ... the guy killed himself in an other car so no curse on this one

It sounds like a fun project and has been done a few times before, but beware of the wagon aw-drivetrain...it's not going to hold up to alot of abuse.
