motor mount inserts- anybody have measureable benefits?
i'm almost done installing my turbo in the gsr, and i have the urethane motor mount inserts. im curious- how much, if any, do they actually help in the quarter mile? has anybody run their car before inserts and after for comparison? i'm wondering if they actually have a measureable impact on the time.

they help with wheelhop, it can lower your 60's, so yes it can affect your 1/4 time. id get a traction bar though, if you really wanted to lower 60's.
i have inserts in my turbo gsr, and i still wheelhop sorta hard

i have an ek, and what i did was got the inserts for the two top side mounts(oil filled mount on drivers side and the top tranny mount. for the back mount, i am using a place racing mount. and then for the two bottom side mounts, i filled them with window weld. that things is pretty solid

Re: (DRAGLS)
i had really bad wheel hop with stock mounts. i broke my driver side integra mounta and ac mount. inserts is a good alternative if you don't want to buy aftermarket mounts.

i went through three of those drivers side oil filled mounts. those things suck. i finally welded on some tabs on the front and back of the mount around the base and put a flat bar across the top of the mount with the stud sticking through. then ran a bolt through each side of the flat bar and taped the two welded on tabs. no movement at all from that mount now.
