see im not gonna be an *** and tell you to search for it but the Lumen your are looking for is 3000K, what is Lumen you ask its the total amount of light that a bulb can produce, so the lower the number the more yellow the light the higher the light the more, BUT the hight you go in the Lumen spectrum the less the light output so the optimum light output is arround 4600K which is closest to natural sun light, the light you want is the yellowest you can get, hope this helps you

3000k is for foglights, you shouldn't use it for headlights.

x2.

I hate yellow jdm wannabe headlight bulbs in the first place, ricers around here drive me nuts with them. A glaretastic yellow HID kit would make me want to smash their lights with a tire iron.

i think u got ur terms mixed up. it's color temperature (measured in Kelvin), not lumen. Lumens refer to light output

Yup.
Lumen is like candlepower, the light output.

Kelvin is the color temperature.

lumens = light output

kelvin (K) = color temp

They don't. THey're just a totally different color. Yellow light cuts through the night more and there's nothing more annoying than looking at yellow light while you're driving. Some ricer in a civic sat behind me at a light and the interior of my car friggin glowed. Yellow light pisses people off because they've never seen it before.

HID kits are illegal
No one else has yellow headlights for a reason
It's distracting and annoying and can be dangerous to other drivers.

That has nothing to do with taste, that's just a warning.

hmm my gold headlights now arent a prob. i see old tl's and such running around with them as a stock setup....even the 2000ish lexus gs's have em...yes those are fogs but they cant be totally illegal if companies put them on as factory issue.....
