aem v2 cai from 92-00 civics fit on 05 model
i'm not a civic owner but a friend of mine asked me to find an AEM V2 CAI for an '05 Civic LX Coupe. i haven't been able to find any for this year specifically on honda marketplace or on craigslist. so i'm just curious if the CAI for the older model civics fit on to the '05 model?
they're still using the same D-Series motor, right? so if they're the same motors, it should fit? or would it only fit for sure between years if it was a SRI? not too sure, so if anybody could help out, that would be very helpful.

That is an insteresting, first time question to my knowledge...
Best thing to do would have a picture comparison... I don't see why it WOULD NOT work... with the vertical throttle body.
And the older SOHC Civic's used the D16, these cars have the D17... so it is different... but they share the same TYPE throttle body placement. It is vertical, instead of the B series horizontal...
The only thing I could see a problem with would be the places it mounts inside the engine bay at the body... It may be worth a shot if you can find one cheap...
Although they do make a model specific V2 for the EM2 chassis though.
