Default obd2 gsr ecu on obd1 h22 swap

i have an obd1 h22 swap in my 97 accord not running yet. im going to convert that motor to obd2 and i have a chance to get an obd2 gsr ecu. will this work out with my swap good or not? i can also get an obd1 ecu p13. which do you think is good? any pros or cons? which ecu is best. I heard that the obd2 ecu for prelude dont work except for 96. if you guys know anything please help or even tell me if there are any existing forums about this. thanks....

Will a b18c1 ecu even work with a h22?

I have heavy doubts it would be compatible, they're completely different platforms, stick with the h22 ecu that correlates with your motor

Why not convert ur car to OBD1 and use a P28 ecu? we don't have emissions in FL

if you are going to run obd2 you need an ecu without an imobilizer. the 96 p13 does not have one and is obd2. I would say get an obd2-obd1 harness and run a obd1 p13. and call it a day

I have heavy doubts on running an OBDII ecu on an OBDI engine. Get an OBDI ecu if your getting an OBDI engine. b/c you have a 97 Accord .. you will need an OBDII -> OBDI conversion harness. I have a barely used Skunk2 one for sale if you interested.
