roll cage question
I have a pair of CRXs that I use for off roading (seriously). I want to put a roll cage in to make them slightly safer in case of a rollover-(it's already happened twice) I want to make them removable, since it's likely the cage will outlast the car. I plan on cutting the roof off for removal and installation. My question is how much should I expect to pay to have one made or is there a sufficient bolt in prefab cage available?
Usually you can find a used autopower 6 pt cage pretty cheap. ebay is always a good place to check. i had a autopower in my ef. it made a very noticable difference. what kind of offroading are we alking about

Thanks for the help. we have a couple of jumps set up at my buddy's house and some trails in the woods we take them on. It is a blast and the cars are unbelievably tough. We have gone through a number of radiators though. We switched to EG radiators and pushed them up out of harms way, but skid plates are definitely on the wish list. I lifted the suspension with stock EK springs and struts, and 28" tires on the front. The fenders are removed and most of the metal is cut or bent out of the way to make room. I relocated the batteries to the back as well.
That actually sounds pretty cool. you ever check out that issue about a year or two ago in sport compact with the yellow ralley ef? its a sweet little car, they said it actually placed well in its class also. you have any pics of your cars? maybe some action shots?
check with the h-t sponcer but a buddy of mine was able to order a S&W cage for 169 shipped. they are also located in Pa so not alot of time with shipping.
