christmas came yesterday for me, after sitting for 4 months staring, dreaming, and moping around at work, i went to my local performance shop and hopped into my hatch powered by a jdm b16a. omfg, pulling out of that lot with the biggest smile on my face and hearing the greatest sound ever to enter my skull VTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECc . this is my 1st honda and 1st b series. my g/f's bro had a 98 mustang gt with minor bolt ons so im no stranger to power but this thing f**kn pulls. so i went to shut up my friend that would not stop running his mouth with his 1990 hatch. mods include B18a1, Exedy stage 1, b16 tranny w/ lsd, and a c/f hood but his head gasket is messed up. he took me off the line of course but by 2nd gear around 7k i had a car and 1/2 on him, so thats the end of that. sorry that took so long. hear is a lil 1-4 gear pull on my phone....jdm b16a/intake/stock exhaust

lol glad your happy with your swap. Now dont be an idiot driver and drive wreckless. Second, keep up with you maintance and your motor should be fine for years. I remember my first day with my b16 crx. My fuel guage was working but I remember I had put $10 before it went to the shop. I never made it home because I ran out of gas. Too much vtec from when I left the shop haahhaha.

 

This thread brings back some great memories. The first time you get your new engine and parts running.. what a good day that is.
