I recently found out my 01 civic had a returnless fuel sytem. I also recently found out that its a bad thing. Anyone know exactly what that means and what the disadvantages are.

it is fine for daily driving/minimal mods, but the problem lies with fuel delivery. U cant just up the fuel pressure by a simple fuel pressure regulator like on older civics, you need a good tuning program ( emanage and such) to help u get around it, and larger injectors.

It will hurt u a lot if ur going for nitrous, where u cannot get a dry kit, cause u are unable to up the fuel pressure to accomidate the nitrous. Instead we must get a wet kit, which has a fuel line included in the kit which adds the extra fuel the engine needs to run nitrous.

we really cant answer to many questions without knowing ur plans.

If u are just doing minor bolton's, the returnless really has no effect on u. I already explained briefly the nitrous and turbo differences.

You need a return fuel line for turbo cars.
