how do i get the ebrake handle off?

Default how do i get the ebrake handle off?

how does the stock ebrake handle come off?

There are 2 bolt that is holding it down.
Take the ebrake cover off.. you'll see 2 -12mm bolts holding front/back.

no i just want to get the plastic handle grip thing off the assembly. right now my car has a gheto carbon fiber chrome handle and it looks stupid.

Twist it off hard. You'll need like big pliers and a rag (to avoid scratching it).

It's freakin' simple people. Pipe wrench on the handle that's wrapped in a rag to keep it from getting scratched up, give it a quick twist, and off it comes.

BTW, those pics aren't mine. Google image search for pipe wrench, dirty rag, and civic brake handle got me those.

Vince, now that you can get that ebrake handle off, get a bright red one. You know, for emergencies, ones that involve 55+mph slides.
