Default Props to the Ludes.

I have a 98 GSR w\ I/h/E, and my friends father is a proud owner of a 94 lude vtec (w\the good potenza's, not the all seasons) I have a set of high perf dunlops on my gsr. ..anyways the Lude has a CAI, chip and a timing advancement. At the time all i had in my GSR was CAI, and hedders and was currently saving for the catback I have now. We raced twice...and in first and second he pulled me slightly 1/4 length id say...3-4th it was all GSR baby and I eventually pulled 2 lengths outa him in bout 1/4mile or lil more. But Man, that lude had some impressive torque! Infact I was scared for a second he was guna bury me, but me having the better power to weight ratio and better top end. I won both times...now I question..how is 94 lude vtec's gearing compared to a GSR's? cause it seemed he would have to shift before I did..and lost ground. Can anyone say? Mad props to all ludes.

He should have beat you. Tell him to practice driving.

thanks for the props, but i agree with laughin2.2, the lude should win provided he knew how to drive it.

Either his timing advancement actually hurt his performance, he wasn't trying, or he doesn't know how to drive. He should have spanked you. Those 4g preludes can keep up to type r's.

I generally beat gsr's by 3-4 car lengths by 90 mph....and from there my lead greatly increases...

I always beat GSR's...They're good to race up until 3rd gear. Thats when the Lude pulls away....

Closest race I ever had with a GSR only had all the bolt ons.

LOL, including an 8psi JRSC. hahaha, I still hung. Actually, maybe the GSR hung, I think we were about dead even... at one point I was ahead, then it was. Hmm... damnit.

Anyway... this is oh so not tech oriented.
