driver side axle leaking

Default driver side axle leaking

i just put a 96 ex tranny on my d16z6 the other and now my driver side axle is leaking some muddy oily stuff..what cold be the problem of this happening?

coming out of the tranny? if its realy thick you probably have a torn cv boot just get a new axle. if its more oily and coming out of the tranny you probably need a new tranny seal.

its all thick and loks like theres water mixed with it...its all over my header and my o2 senors i hope itsnot hard to fix..thanks man

honestly i dont know. but if it was ripped wil that make it leak oil?

In side the boot its like a grees its kinda thik tho... so if your saying its oily then it might not be.. but its all so you lookin at it and not me.. what color is it?

i would think so but its realy hard to say when your not lookin at it.. is it srayed all over the place like its been spining all around?

look at yur axle. if the rubber boot around the end near the tire is torn anywhere. then it is prolly that. if not. then go to autozone. ask for an axle-tranny seal. its like 2.99, then go home. pop the axle out. take out the old seal with like a screwdrive. then pop the new one in. and pop the axle back in. and vualah perfecto. if thats not it. then ummm.... u need to clean it all up and then drive and see EXACTLY where its coming from. cuz i had a oil pan leak and it look lke tranny cuz it drips and ****. and then i had a rear main seal which sucked *****.
