Default ITR stolen from garage?

Has anyone or does anybody know someone who had their garage broken into and R stolen? Just curious cause I'm always paranoid about my car.
I don't know how people park their R's outside? Do they not read the stolen ITR threads? I'm from Canada and travel to Cali for work all the time. In the greater LA area I wouldn't even roll in a lada without having a garage to keep it in. These guys are just asking for it leaving R's outside.

If you can't garage it....don't buy it!!!!!

peoples lives are not shaped around a type R, or any car. they cant help not having a garage.

ive had my car for 2 years, its been garaged 95% of the time. hell, i parked it outside last night. still havnt been out. who knows if its still there.

I park my car anywhere... I have gotten over being scared about my R being stolen. It really is just a car.

some wealthy guy where i live had a 2000 py type r and he had a gate in front of his house and he also had the r in the garage. one night a bunch of thieves went to house gate and cut a whole size of an integra and then went to his garage and jacked up the garage and then they pushed it down his driveway thru the whole they made. when the guy woke the next mornin he went to go his garage and noticed everything. he called the cops and when the cops were on route to his home they saw the car on the side of road stripped of everything.....

since then i new that if someone wants your car they'll take it.

I believe it, get two or three guys who know every nut and bolt on a DC chassis (like most of us) and it can be done in a few hours.

I have heard of at least one person getting their R stolen out of a garage, and the sad part other than the car, is the dog that got an *** beating to get to the R

I envy you guys that don't worry about your R's, I'm 27 years old but not to proud to admit I would cry if my car gets stolen. I worry about it everytime I park it... even in the garage

I park mine in the garage every night. Locked, wheels off, brake assembly off, interior out, and I pull the engine.

Then I drive the contents to my undisclosed warehouse location in Myrtle Beach a hour away, and store everything for the night. I get home, and get some sleep for an hour, just in time to head back down to Myrtle Beach to pick the contents back up, and barely get the car drivable again in time for work.

Yes, it is quite a pain in the ***, but it's the best theft deterent. If you're serious about keeping your Type-R, you will make your life revolve around not getting it stolen.

... For those of you who lack sarcasm as a second language... I'm kidding.

in the end, if they really want it, they'll take it, only thing you can do is take precautionary measures.

or let it be a garage queen.

It may be fast, but it's very hard to read and to understand. It isn't that hard to write something readable, is it?

Oh, and I never claimed to be perfect, the name is spelled Prefect.

Also, my R hasn't seen the inside of a garage in over 5 years, no worries
