piston rings???

Default piston rings???

im rebuilding my ls and need to change rings,bearings,and hone the block...im pretty much know how to do everything but setting the piston rings in proper direction and gappin them...can someone help???

maybe someone can chime in. because i forgot and threw out my book with the clocking order in it. you should pick up a haynes manual or some kind of related thing for like $15 at you local auto store or search piston ring clocking order.

Search a thread by B19coupe he has a pretty good write up on piston ring placement. I consumed oil by using honda's piston ring placement. Went with the way B19coupe placed his piston rings and never smoked or consumed oil on all motors i have built since.
