I dont know the currency exchange, but to do a b16 swap is pretty cheap. There are a ton of aftermarket support for them ,and with the money you are looking to spend it would not be hard to build a N/A monster with basic bolt ons. Just my opinion.

How about a JDM GSR swap with LSD. The B16 is not going to make you quite as happy. K20 is going to cost more than you have to do properly, ITR would be nice if and within your budget if your doing the install yourself.

My vote goes to the JDM GSR, even if its not on the list. You will have money left over for a nice header, cams and an intake manifold.

If you do the insatll yourself, I say K20. What is the exchange rate now anyway? Back in the day it was about $1 US to 1.50 CAD, although I think it is somewhat closer now.

K20A will cost like 5800 CAD/USD just for the motor...and the transmission and everything will cost like 12,000 CAD/USD i guess i saw an article about a guy put K20A in a EK somewhere...its cool...but it cost way too much

for reliability and driveability, the R or a GSR. You'd be happy with either.

the b20 can be good if done right...

i'd go k20 you'll be unique, although aftermarket support isnt as great as b-series you'll be one of the few to run k20, but then also finding a tuner will be hard...+k20 can be a motherload of cash

no, f'in way if they were everyone would have a type-r thats just motor and no tranny priced...

-unless you got good hook-up then maybe you'll get 1 for that price, but that is crackhead cheap price...

Well, I got a K20A3 long block for 800$ How much do they usually go for? I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with it as of now. Build it up or sell it?

1.1574 is what the canadian dollar is vs USD.
this is of 12/22/06.

Take USD x 1.1574 and there is ur CAN price.

and check these guys out for motor swap choices.
