check enging light warning on b16
i have a 89 crx dx with a b16 in it. recently i have been having issues where the check enging light keeps comming on and my car shuts off. some times its just a flicker and the car would jerk quickly. can anyone tell me whats going on? also when im starting from a stop, i can feel a slight jerk and a give-way. im thinking maybe its a tranny problem. any guesses?

Check Engine Light
You can check the code buy jumping the service connector, turn the key on, and count the blinks. long blink=10, short=1
Example:
long...short....short= code 12
long...long...short = code 21
Look in the faq thread at the top, has lots of info on checking code and what they mean.
