hell no its not worth 12,000...maybe because it is brand new...but you can buy one, rebuild it and have A LOT more horsepower then that and spend about half....if i was rich maybe, but then id be driving a ferrari

Tell that to the people with $50,000 EK's in the EK squad lol

Most of them are just NA b18's putting out no more than 220 whp. Sad when you think about it.

You could definitely go your own route and make more power. BTW, can't you purchase a stroker kit for the B18C1 and bump up the 1.8 liters anyway (I saw someone oggling over it)?

$12,500 ????????????

I would shoot myself in the head before I would pay that for a 275hp honda motor.

hmmm 12k for a honda motor or

10k for this motor
with 500+ hp

http://www.high-performance-engines.com/ce14.html

they must know that honda fan boys are suckers.

for $12k, just buy a GSR engine, build and sleeve it, then buy a PeakBoost turbo kit (or build your own) and you could make 400+whp....

expensive or not, 275hp all motor is pretty impressive. 130 hp/L, even more than the S2000.

The dyno chart says that it only makes about 180 hp @ 8000 RPMs. Somethings a little wrong there.

haha you're looking at the numbers on the torque side.

Well the site says "100 horsepower more than stock"... seeing how stock is 170 and probably around 150 to the wheels, I'd guess it's at best 275 at the crank. I'd probably call BS on even those numbers though seeing how their snazzy dyno chart looks like it was made in MS Paint.

If it really is 275 to the wheels NA then that is very impressive but I still couldn't justify buying it. I would rather take the $12500 and buy a K20a and boost it.

im pretty sure those are flywheel hp numbers.

275 = ~230whp
190= ~160wtq

while not bad, you could make those same numbers building your own engine with the right combination of parts and probably come out cheaper.
