ek with gsr swap wiring problems
i'm using the stock sohc vtec harness from the ex. but notice that the crank position sensor has a different plug. 3 prongs instead of the 2 that is on the gsr. do i need to wire that up? how do i do it? what do i do about the alternator plug also? can i just swap out alternators? thanks
The 95 GSR won't have the crank position sensor on the oil pump like OBD2 models. If you plan on using an OBD2 ECU you will either have to get an OBD2 GSR oil pump or do this trick : http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/ckftrick.htm For the alternator:
