Default HELP! ls blowing alot of grey smoke

So I just got home from overseas yesterday and start up my teg after recharging the battery and its blowing mad grey smoke. Its blowing smoke out of the exhaust the dipstick and the valve cover breather. It was running fine when i left so im thinking my stepbrother took it out and turned up the boost on the greddy controller on my unbuilt ls block. You guys think it might just be a blown head gasket or is it something bigger?

Sounds like a cracked ringland on your piston. Its one of the few things that allows smokey blowby which causes the smoking out the breather. I'd check the compression first, but blown headgasket or cracked ringlands (which blowing a metal head gasket is pretty hard) you've gotta take it apart either way. You'll probably notice some scoring on the cylinder walls and you'll have to go overbore or get a new block if indeed the ringlands are busted.
