Satellite Radio ????
I know that a new Si comes with XM. I personaly prefer Sirius, does anyone know if it can be converted without adding an additional fm tranmitter unit? I know GM's with XM have a conversion unit.
I was not aware of the audio port, thanks. I really would like to not add an additional bulky unit. I have a sportster in my GS-R right now. When I buy my new Si in Jan I want to keep it as clean looking as possible. Does anyone know if the GM XM comverter will work?
Honda needs to get their *** on board and stop pushing only XM just because they have an ownership stake in the company.
I am betting the Si crowd is mostly young males, who also happen to be the target demographic for Howard Stern on Sirius.

I have tried both XM and Sirius and find Sirius just has better content. XM will be bankrupt soon anyway. I guess until then the Sportster will make its way to the new Si. I can't wait for my Si!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best case scenario would be they would merge. We should know by next Christmas the fate of XM radio.
Sirius focused on paying top dollar to attract top talent for new unique content and its paying off.
XM thought they could basically just take internet radio-type channels and pipe them out..better selection than regular radio sure but nothing spectacular about it other than having 10x the channels which Sirius has too.
I'm a great example the only reason I got a lifetime subscription to Sirius was because of Howard Stern.

i just got an xm roady xt with sureconnect. i have a 98 honda accord with a stock single cd changer (no cassette deck). apperently with sureconnect you can connect it to your stock stereo. Is there an imput in my current stereo that I can hook the xm radio to so i don't have to use the fm modulator?
i've never tried sirus but I have the xm(w/navi) in my car right now and i'm not to thrilled with it. I pay $38 for 3 months. A lot of the channels have commercials which pisses me off. Cause i'm paying for the radio so why do they need commercials? The quality of sound is not that great either. My opinion on the sound xm<Fm radio<Ipod=CD So when you turn off your cd and wanna listen to xm it sounds like crap. Anyway I called to cancel it but they said they would give me three months for free if I did not cancel it right that minute....Their desperate if you ask me. I will most likely cancel it when the free three months ends. I would like to try sirus if it is convertable.
