lookin for some springs and retainers for h22 seen some kms ones for cheap does anyone know if they
im lookin for valvetrain for h22 seen some kms springs and retainers for cheap. dont have any experience with them and dont know anyone thats ever used them on a h motor. im on a budget and really dont want to go wit supertec cuz they are alot mor money if anyone knows anything about kms valvetrain products please specify

I use to be a believer in the KMS Valves and ONLY VALVES, I had a really bad service experience with them...a while back...
I installed there SS stock replacement valves into my H22...well about 6-8 months later a few valves got bent, no problem. 4 exhaust valves to be exact...called them up...like you didn't want to pay too much...since in a lot of cases valves are valves...well I get a quote on a Thursday of $33 for 4 SS stock replacement exhaust valves. I tell him is there anyway you can overnight them to me, I was in a hurry as well since a track event was the following weekend...He didn't have them in his possesion at the time at the shop of something...I paid for overnight delivery...the following Wednesday rolls around...I get a call hey what did you want again??? im like WTF you haven't sent them out yet? No, then he tells me they were $99 for 4 valves instead of the quote he quoted me on Thursday for $33..He said some poor excuse that he wasn't thinking straight I had asked him atleast 3 times what the total was in previous quote on the Thurdsay phone call...I said well the least you can do is split the difference since it was your mistake...$33 was probably his price for 4 exhaust valves...He said No, I said well do you admit you made a mistake? His response was...No...I am thinkin what an *** and laughed at him (owner)...I was in a bind and wasn't thinking clearly so I said yes (hurry) get them out...I was reluctant to switch to another brand so I can get all 16 valves the same...I talked it over with a business partner bout the experience 10 min later I get on the phone and called him back I then get this rude attitude from him (lip) and I was like just give me my money back...I will not deal with a rude person like your self...So he was being difficult about giving the money back and he hung up on me twice...I then said with the last phone call just refund me please...Well 3 days go by still no refund I get on the phone once again...please refund my money and the next day it was refunded....
SHITTY SERVICE and a RUDE Kid Owner...Do not buy from them spend the extra lil money and get great service and quick delievery...
I then called up Ferrea down in FL they were very helpful and I told them I needed them pretty quick...they than gave me to a distributor and I ordered through him and 2 days later I got them...Ferrea is probably the best out there...The funny thing is the 4 valves came out to be cheaper then KMS by about $10-15...

KMS aka KAUFFMANN MOTORSPORTS IS A RIP OFF. He is local to me. There are HUNDREDs of horror stories about his sub par machine work, shitty assembly, etc.
I have seen motors he BUILT with my own eyes that had thrust washers installed BACKWARDS and the motor spun EVERY ROD AN MAIN BEARING because he thought it was ok to use LS bearings in a GSR. My buddy spent $6000 getting the motor built an 1000miles later, kablooey.
Its really sad because Kauffman has some of the best equipment money can buy, but hes too lazy and too greedy to put it to good use. He is only out to make a buck, he has fucked over more people, and more motors that i have ever seen. INCLUDING local shops that used him for machine work.
Hes lazy, hes an ***, his customer service sucks.
his KMS parts are just REBADGED SUPERTECH products. Supertech is a great company, KMS sucks

i am pretty happy that they dont take discover or i might have been putting a bad oil pump in my car.
