well since your putting a vtec head on, you might as well convert to obd1 while your at it and run the p28 ecu found in the 92-95 civic si and ex. If you choose to stay obd0 and run a vtec controller you will need the following:

Injector Resistor box
Intake manifold
Any obd0 MPFI ecu
Manifold
Distributor from the si, ex or hf. DX got the shaft here
SI harness

well pretty much the 92 sohc head comes with everthing from the head up but no ecu and harness, even comes with axles, i guess nobody has a how to step by step on how to do this swap, from a d16y7 block with a d15 harness already hooked-up

check out this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=554053

It is putting a z6 head on a b7 block...pretty much the same thing you are doing. Very detailed

the swap is really easy. DPFI to MPFI like 1 hour with a soldering gun and some heat shrink. OBD0 to OBD1 just build your own conversion harness. buy a p28 ecu and you're done. i finished my mini-me last month!

check out this link...tells you how to build your own conversion harness.

You're telling him its going to take an easy hour for a MPFI swap/obd0 to obd1?

And you wonder why people complain about the nosedive in reliable/quality tech answers around here.

just an hour for the dpfi to mpfi the obd0 to obd1 wiring takes a bit longer...a lot longer if you build your own harness.
