hey guys ive been looking for a good honda for quite some time now. today i came across an online ad that claims to have a crx si-pirahana. i have never heard of such a model. he claims it came from the factory with a different body kit upgraded suspension and a turbo. help me out please!

 

No. Body kit and turbo? No.

 

thats what i thought. should i even bother dealing with this clown if he's trying to pull this crap just in his ad? its for $900 with 1.5 bottom end and 1.6 top end and 22,000 miles on the swap and a bad clutch.

 

If he's already lying about what he has i'd probably walk. But who knows, maybe the owner before him told him this 'fish-story' as-well and he was just gullible to believe it...?

Sounds like poison to me. I would stay away from it, but then again it could be the deal of the century. Can you post up all the info you have about the car, it would help the people on here give you a better answer.

I have a 1989 honda civic CRX SI 5 spd it has a 1.5 bottom end w/ 1.6 top end, it is a Pirahana edition which came from the factory with a different body kit upgraded suspension and a turbo the turbo is gone but the rest is still there. it also has 16" black powdercoated 5-star wheels, exhaust, short throw shifter, short ram air intake, nitrous solenoid and lines but no bottle or switches i have never used it (the NOS) as i never got a bottle. the motor has approx. 22,000 miles the car needs a clutch it still drives and all but it slips if you get on the car hard. a new clutch is only 107.00 so it's not crazy expensive the car has standard honda rust around the rear wheel wells and the body has some dents and dings. the interior is perfect aside from 1 ripped spot on the drivers seat. i'll take offers on the car as i need some christmas money but all in all it's a great price for a really great car.

yea i figured he was full of **** but i wanted to check before i called him on it and ended up looking like an ***. as far as the car i dont want anything amazing. im just looking for a car with potential that i can fix up and learn how to really work on a car. would this be a good buy then?

oh we are way past the full of **** part. the one that gets me the hardest is the "but i took the turbo off" part. and the "it has nitrous, but doesnt have nitrous." thats liek saying "it has lambo doors, with a normal door conversion"
