Indeed. Although with damage like that even if it were a journal bearing, I'd reccomend getting a completely new turbo anyways.
Although I thought the BB assembily was seperate from the shaft? If that is the case just the shaft/wheel would suffice.

you can get a new chra but i have read companies want the better part of 1500 for them.....evans tuning sells the whole 4088 for 15XX..which is stupid cheap. When my 3076r blew up i got a new chra for 700 which was cost at the time.

Holy damn! I wish I had a bigger block to actually make use of a turbo like that. I'd pick one up in a heart beat.

I guess it would be possible, but not worth your time. We blend and weld turbine blades where I work, but we also heat treat our parts afterward. We'd probably scrap a part that came in looking that bad.
