what u guys think brand new yokohama as430 for 300$ a good deal?

 

These are all season tires, do you really need all season tires? Does it snow often in Florida?

Also what size are you looking at getting?

I think they are a poor choice for anyone in Florida.

And for anyone living elsewhere who actually needs all-season tires, too...

 

it dont snow in florida but it do just start raining out of the blue... and the size is 205/45/16

 

Summer tires are better for rain than all season tires.

 

In that size, you can get the Kumho SPT from the Tire Rack for $260 plus shipping for four tires, and then get $40 back from Kumho if you buy them by Sunday. That's $220 for a set of tires that will give you much much MUCH better performance, on dry pavement and in Florida's frequent rain, than the $300 Yokohama tires you mentioned. This choice is a no-brainer...

 

I couldn't agree with both of you more! I'm in Montreal and I don't even have all-season and it snow alot of here. I run summer tires until December then I switch to winter tires until April! I use Kumho SPT for the summer and they are great and if we had your weather I would be running them all year long!
