i just picked up this 96 civic ek.

it seems like the battery and alternator are bad. i had it jumped today and when the car is on,

all the cluster lights are blinking like the turn signals are going,
the center console lights were blinking also,

where should i start looking with this nightmare?

bad ground wire connection? connection not plugged in good?

so if i ground the battery real good, are there other grounds that i need to be concerned with.

 

theres a ground on the transmission and off the valve cover too

 

i like those grounds but do engine grounds affect all the lights on the entire car.

 

any more thoughts
