Any Word on the CL Type S 6 Spd Tranny On An H22A4 into an accord yet?
i dunno but it would be sweet if i could get the CL type S 6 speed tranny and have that extra over drive for the highway then the normal H22 Tranny which revs too high cruising
Yeah, that ain't gonna work, but there is a good chance that it can fit my Accord V-6, that would be really nice
If that worked then everyone and there mom would have already been converting the Accord V6 to manual using the H22 tranny.
D'OH! The 4 and 6 cylinder transmission housings are quite different I'm sure.
Also, doesn't that V6 spin clockwise?

yeah all of hondas new engines spin clockwise due to the fact honda wants to start selling them off to other car companies (like GM) to make some more money off of them. That is why the RSX Civic and other new 4 cylinders have their intake manifolds in the front and the whole engine is turned around oposite of the older cars.

No it just annoys us when people display ignorance (incase of tyying to take 3-4 seconds off a 1/4 mile time with 3000 dollars) and blatent stupidity. We have discussed about the only 2 transmissions that will fit on an Accord V6 the old 5 speed from the Legend and the 6 speed from the new CL. If the Cl's tranny fit on the H22 then the H22's tranny would have fit on the Accord V6 and alot of people would be happy.
The 6 speed legend was rare and I have no idea what engine was in it. I think it had a tuned down version of the NSX motor or maybe it was a 3.2L SOHC but I doubt it was a J series. Only ones I know of working are from the late 80's model legend C27 with the 5 speed.
