well lads im fitting front and rear itr arms brakes etc etc on my ek.

the rear bearings are fucked. and i need to get this solved asap
can u change a bearing in the rear hub of an itr?? if so how
or do i have to change the whole hub??? thanks in advance lads

 

ohh sorry its 96 spec jdm itr that they came off

 

4lug, mmmm...i am sure you will have to press the bearing out and replace it with a new one. Not sure if this is same as usdm 5 lug. I am sure someone will have an answer, or you can go to a local shop.

it would save alot of time and money if i was able to change just the bearing????but i dont no wether it can be done or not?

 

look for Willards post about Wheel Bearings, did a nice write up and pics a year or so about this. He shows how to do it and what parts/tools used to do it.


Big problem seems to be the part : Wheel bearing for 4 lug itr, do a search!?

ive tried the search even google and cant find **** all...lots of info but nuthin on the rear wheel bearing assembly for a 4 lug itr

 

I don't see the reasoning why Honda would make such a significant change in the 4-lug stuff as apposed to everything else they make.

Pressing wheel bearings in and out is definately a DIY project if you have a press and the right diamemeter dyes to do so.
