i got a b16 ima about to drop in my hatch.. and im not sure wat ecu would be better for it


i got a p61 and a jdm p30... would it make any difference ???

it's a jdm obd1 b17 ecu.

I'd use the jdm p30, and sell the b17 ecu on ebay.

 

b17's were only made in the us.


and why are u guys saying the p30 over the p61. besides its jdm in the title lol

 

the b17 would be a lil bigger motor wouldnt it have a better map???

i was thinking of what makes the jdm blocks come with an extra 10 hp.. is it in the ecu or the motor?? cuz if its ecu im definitely keeping the p30 but if not im leaning on the p61


edit* but then again the compression ratios are different is that wat makes the difference?

 

use the one that's most similiar to your engine.
