Default another caR

Just got back....long trip. I bought a damaged ITR and had to go tow it home.
Because of some complicated bank/christmas/wife timing issues I ended up getting the car before the seller and I had a chance to meet. Strange situation but we arrived at 1:30 AM to pick up this car, with no title, no keys, and just a bill of sale. The seller has been a great guy, very understanding and easy to work with! Well, we had hoped the trunk might be open as the doors were known to be locked. Alas, we had to lockpick/jimmy our way in, which was AMAZINGLY easy. We had the door open within 2 minutes of getting there. The car was driven into a large puddle (AEM intake......).
As of right now, I have no idea of the condition of the engine, the plugs are out, and have been since this happened (a month ago?). The battery is dead. The steering wheel is locked. (And believe me, it was quite difficult to get this car on a standard U-haul tow dolly, we had to remove the front lip and bumper, and ended up going to walmart and buying a winch.) Because the wheel was locked the cars wheels were turned left, and we couldnt roll it straight onto the ramps, it ended up going on crooked, but fortunately, we had a small jack with us and we just jacked it up between the tow dolly and the transmission and then just pushed it over.
So, onto the pic, but please, shes had a rough night (and day), and I know its dirty and has some paint issues. Also, Im going to post pics of some damage and see how bad you guys think it is.

Man, talk about a nice find. How much did you dish for it ?? The body damage seems minimal and rebuilding the engine after a hydrolock is a beautiful opportunity to build an awesome machine ... good luck and let us know how it progresses !!

Nice pickup! As long as the front is damaged, it's a good opportunity to do a USDM front restoration.

Wasn't this car in Texas?

Looks like it'll be a great project... Hope those rods are ok. Hyrdolock sucks.

Our last victum...

Look at it as an opportunity to build stronger.
