what to do with a faulty throttle position sensor

Default what to do with a faulty throttle position sensor

as I found out, the car has faulty throttle position sensor. how/where can I adjust this? or, do I need to replace for a new one?

if its faulty then i'd get a new one. you can pick one up pretty cheap.

The TPS is a variable resistor. It moves as the throttle plate rotates. If you've ever had a cheap radio that when you rotated the volume control you would get crackling/scratchy noises, that's what your TPS is doing. The ECU doesn't like that. There really isn't any practical way to fix this, so you're looking at replacing it.

I think I have a faulty tps sensor to can anyone tell me the syptoms. I have no cel even on the ecu.
