11sec. Possible 10sec. Requirements. Can i run with just a roll bar?
Hey guys.. i'm really starting to move along with my car & i like to use it on the street to cruise around on the weekends.. i'd say that the weekend street driving is my main use of the car & it only sees the track about 6 times durring the summer. Problem is (if u wanna call it a problem!) it's gotten a lot faster and i wanna know what the restrictions are with just a basic roll bar. I'd rather not go with a full cage due to the amount of street use & pain in the *** that it would cause, i did some searching but didn't really find what i was lookin for. I figured maybe some of you more experienced & serious racers might have some answers for me.
TIA
TIA

for the most part yes, on a test and tune night or a street night. depends on how far under you are. i have seen people go 9.50's w/o a comp lisc, but the driver had all safety gear, but i have also been booted out of cecil county when the bar rule was 11.99 with my t type.
it depends on who what when and where.
i dont think youll have an issue with the 6pt bar.

I went to the track with a friend who had the autopower in it and they wouldn't tech him for lower than 11.49's

first off if your really into drag racing then turn it into a fully drag and get another commuter, best way to go. beside you wouldn't have to worry much about breaking down which basicly you will have no ride to work so less hassle but a lot of money spent about the same if you really think about it.
