What's the details on this chip? I assume it still needs to go into an OBD-I ECU since chipping OBD-II ECUs is somewhat pricey and difficult.
I didnt even know you could chip an OBD2 ECU? Im more concerned with using it on a P28. Their site has a few options/programs to choose from so Im just curious if anyone is using one of their programs and how your car runs.
long story short, already have the ECU, but it looks like it has an Ebay chip in it or something. I spoke to Erick and he said it doesnt sound like one of their chips even though the ECU has an Ericks Racing sticker on it. The car runs like crap IMO, and it seems to have a strange idle fluctuation. So Erick said he would hook me up with a legit ERE chip for very cheap, much cheaper than going to a tuner and using another program like Hondata or Neptune, etc.

With those systems you pay for the system... with Crome .... you can just pay the tuner.
Since you have the ecu already... you just need a tuner. A chip will of course, never perform to the same level.
Just my opinion of course.
