Default revs good but no power please help.

i have a 2000 si that revs perfectly fine but as i took it for a drive, it lacks torque and wants to bog out. anyone faced a similar problem. the only piping it got is header and cat only, do i need the complete exhaust for back pressure. Also everytime i rev the motor would shake a little, seems like it is running on three cylinders, but its not. please help out a member, im a new honda owner, and have very little knowledge of hondas.

thanks viewing

if you have a b16 and are running without exhaust ur killin the poor motor THEY ARE TORQUELESS AND then you are taking the only lil torque they have

PLUS ALWAYS FIX PROBLEMS THAT ARE OBIOUS IF YOU HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GET RID OF THAT FIRST

if you have your exhaust up to the cat then no, that wouldn't be the problem.

um, you should find what your check engine light is..... you may answer your own question.
