I didn't know Vortech made a supercharger for the ITR.

yeah, its for the gsr, but with a few modifications, its all good... and the greddy blow off valve is bad ***, it whistles constantly down the highway.... pimp status...

the smaller pully is to up the boost.. the kit came with nice fuel upgrades..

I thought Vortech had to first put out a kit for the GSR? Atleast that's what they told me 8-10 months ago when I asked them...

I hope you know what you're doing, ie tuned built to handle the extra boost and all that. Not just some kid throwing on a kit to "blow away corvettes".

I hope you get it on the dyno and tune it soon. I'd hate to see one of only a few Vortech'd ITR's blown up.

I'd hate to see you blow your motor trying to keep up with a corvette.

blow away corvettes? Maybe blow-off valve away corvettes. I'm gonna predict around 240-260whp. However it will be all peak power. The trq should be around 160-180trq. I have no idea on your other mods so its just a guess. Also adding the smaller pulley will just raise the power up top which is where you don't need the gain. You need to get the bottom end to be stronger. If the shop has a Dynojet, try to get the dynorun file on disk. Its a really small file and is hella easy for a shop to get. I would like to lay the plot over a stock JRSC plot or a plot with similar mods minus charger for charger to show everyone the differences in the two setups on a type R.

You're from Powell? I'm just down the road in Worthington. I think I've met most of the central Ohio ITR owners but I don't think I've meet you yet. Are you going to the ITR get together at Quaker Steak (by Polaris) this Saturday? Here's the thread about it if you haven't heard about it:

I'd be very interested in seeing the comparo between the vortec and JRSC plots. As far as blowing away vettes, I hope your not talking about a C5, because you'll need glasses to see his tail lights.

taking the car to the dyno is not going to prevent you from blowing your motor, it'll just give you an idea of how long it will last.
