Default motor swap, car not starting with key

Just did an sohc zc swap and the car starts, but will not start using the key.
Will be tracking down the issue tonight, where would you suggest to start my search to find the issue?

its not turning over, like not sending signel to the starter?
check to see if you pluged the starter in good (the little bolt and the wire that slips on).

im not sure what exactly is happening, my uncle has been working on the car, i know he has it started fine, but nothing happens when the key is turned. I assume he jumped the starter.

it is turning over because the car has started.

i ment as in the starter turning when you turn the key, not the motor starting.
i bet it has something to do with the starter signel wire. make sure its pluged in good or use a test light to see if it is getting power
