Default 91 HB swap to B16A

I was reading an article on this month Honda Tunning and they were talking about an EG w/ a B series swap. They had mention the fact that you can have AC if you get the B series bracket. What I want to know is if i can keep my AC by doing the same thing w/ my EF considering the different body styles and engine bays. Will the brackets fit and if so what kind of modefication will I have to make?

you can retain your A/C with a swap after all real SiR's had AC, you just need the bracket on the block.... its hard to get a swap that still has them on there because most people find it unnessessary ya know...

Now for my next question. Can I us my D16A tranny on a B16A motor, to save some cash? I know a cable trnny is better but cash is an issue so can I us the tranny for the mean time at least?

Nope can't use a D to a B.

try hitting the F.A.Q. or the big red search button both of these question could have been dealt with.

Use a P54 ac bracket or the the Hasport EFBAC bracket...(what I'm doing...)

Check it out here.....

http://hasport.com/shop/produc...id=84

Or ....P54 Del Sol front driver’s side mount bracket (Honda P/N 38930-P54-000)

for any more questions you EVER have first look through the search. Im not trying to sound like a dick but the answer to your question was just a few clicks away. It would have taken about 3 minutes.

also not to sound like a dick but you shouldnt be doing this swap if you are asking that question.. you obviously need to do some more research.

for all ^this^ at least $1000, or way more depending on what tools you need to buy.
here's all you really NEED to do it:

I just got a rear disc swap for a H-T member sold it for $250..it included:

Rear trailing arms
Calipers
Used rotors and Pads
E-brake cables
Prop valve
Brake booster
Master Cylinder

That should be all you need to do the swap, grab a flare nut wrench for the brake lines and then some new pads, rotors and fluids
