More accident pictures.... :(
Well it looks like the front of the car is bent back a little bit. There is a nice crease inside the engine bay and the hood closes over the top of the front bumper cover. Also the hood is bent and something on the alignment is realy out of wack. When I took the z10 bars off today, the passenger side was not loaded, and the driver side was fully loaded
Oh well here are some pictures
Check out how the bumper support goes up toward the driver side
You can see it bent up and broke the headlight assembly

Here is one crease
Here is the other crease

What do you mean that the passenger side wasn't loaded while the driver side was?

That really sucks, I'm sorry. So I am assuming you will not go to your insurance company? Your rates will go up a lot, but in the long run depending on the damage it may be worth it.
dood, just call on us for help and you know we'll be down there in less than 3 hours. You know the normal routine. You guys do the work, I supervise and drink beer. As D said, keep your head up. It'll be good as new in no time and you'll be rollin' hatchcraps stunna style
With respect to a bent frame, how serious is it if it is a frontal impact? My car is in the bodyshop right now with a similar (but more forceful) impact. The bumper support and everything forward was badly damaged, but the radiator and back "seemed" completely intact. However, my AC lines were somehow cracked. ALignment was off, but the car was still driveable. What should I lookfor when I get my car back? How would I know if the LCAs are damaged, or the frame was irreparably harmed (the body shop is doing a 4-door alignment, but not touching the suspension)?

A..penny do this for your own interest. Take diagional measurements on both sides ( maybe the right rear fender bolt and the left front one and vice-versa) and compare the differences. This will give you an idea of the damage involved! Also you do know that the frame may not be bent but that the inner apron was moved? Two totally different situations....

Btw, what kind of hydraulic jack is that? Looks sturdy.
Fawker is nice. I did have to trim it a bit with the dremal as it would not work properly other wise. Kinda sucks, spend 200 bux on a jack and you still have to mod it for it to work properly. But it kicks *** now
So are you still up for the EXPO?

Inner Apron is the piece that makes up the inside of the fender down towards the left and right baffles. Your car obviously has some sway in it which will need some frame time to correct. Bet on 2 hours of set-up time and 2-3 hours for pull. One pull down, one pull back and one pull at angle towards drivers side.
If there is damage to the aprons than more than likely the upper tie bar and possibly the whole core support is damaged. Damage to these cars can be extensive as they are made to collapse upon impact. As you pull more off you find additional damages. What looks superficial probably goes pretty far towards the inner structure of the car. Think of it like an earthquake shock wave traveling from the bumper towards the rear of the car. Damage at the front will be extensive yet each damage piece puts stress on other pieces which will damage, the damage getting lighter as you go deeper into the inner structure.
Regarding the apron, allot of times most of that kink will come out with frame pulls but will still need to be repaired. I would check the frame extensions where the bumper reinforcements bolt up- make sure that those frame rails don’t have any kinks in them. Take it to a qualified repair facility, check out prior framework, see what kind of frame equipment they use and look at the quality of work done on other cars.
Don’t try to skimp on the shop to save a couple bucks. Take it to a couple shops for estimates. This will give you some idea of what the car needs. Then you can compare it to the insurance appraiser's estimate to see how they are redlining the other estimates. You want this thing done right I presume.
Good Luck and be involved with the repairs. nothing worse than getting your car repaired only to have it pull to one side or constantly replacing tires because of bad frame work- not to mention water leaks around windshields etc.
