Default Fawk me... Mazda Rims do not clear Spoon calipers.. now what?

I am just having a kick *** weekend. Spend $160 bux at sears getting 2 sets of mazda rims mounted with Azenis and S03's so I could swap out my bent ITR rim from my lovely acciedent (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=183269) So I go to put the rim on and low and behold, the pos does not clear the rim. So now I've got to figure out what to do. Do I run a spacer or machine the calipers. What do you all think. If I run spacers do I run them on the front and rear? Also who has spacers? I'll probably pick up 3mm (if they got them) and 5mm and figure out which one fits. Thanks for all the help guys.

Craig - Who is having a really shitty weekend

I was thinking of pulling them off and throwing them on the milling machine But it looks like its a good 5mm

I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow. I was just pissed and had been working on the car most of the day. Also sweating like a fat kid was not helping.

Craig - Who says ******* the spoon logo, thats 3mm's right there

.....i was gonna suggest a 5mm spacer and go from there.

Please sell me the calipers if you're really gonna machine them!

I've got a black slipstream you can run in the meantime as a spare if you want.....

Do I need longer studs when running a 5mm spacer?

To bad I just spend 160 bux on getting 2 sets of tires mounted on these rims

So does anybody know where to get 3mm spacers?

Craig - Who says to all HT'ers (looks like I might be able to get this fixed before expo )

Here in AZ you can get spacers from Pepboys & Checker.
Do you guys have Pepboys in Florida?
There not the best but they get the job done

Yeah we have pepboys.. I'll have to check that out if my other solution does not work. The calipers are spaced about 5mm right now off the hub assembly with washer to center the calipers around the rotors. I'm going to try to remove the washer or run smaller washer and see if that will allow them the clear the rims.

Craig - Who hopes this works else he is just going to get some +40 offset rims like he saw on that 64 impalla

Craig, try h&r for GOOD high $ spacers. They *might* make 3mm, but I know they make 5mm... Then take them to pep boys and put it on the lathe for a couple bucks.

I'm going to see if I can get away with moving the caliper in by removing thouse washers. If not, I've got a metal lathe down in miami i can use to machine down to 3mm
