Side exit dump tube on DC front end (researched)
Im fabbing up a side exit dumptube for my current setup, im trying to figure out where to have the pipe exit the bumper and am hoping to find some pictures or ideas of where others have routed it to. I have a plate made out of carbon fiber already im going to use to keep the exhaust from staining the bumper.
Heres an older pic of my setup and pretty much what it looks like now. I plan to leave the wastegate on that side and have the pipe 90 straight down until i reach x (wherever i plan to exit it) and then 90 right, along the hot pipe and out the side of the bumper.

Ive looked at all the old threads but there arent any good pics and i didnt find any integras. Any experience with this would be appreciated.

I was thinking about doing this too. I would turn the wastegate so it faces the driver side. I think there's a clearer path that way.
Only downfall ive notice with that would be the insanely hot air that the turbo would be ingesting under full boost. The reason for routing it down and along the hot pipe would be to keep it away from the intake as much as possible.
This ITR from SCC's ultimate street car challenge #2 has a side exit wastegate coming out the drivers side, it's a dirt bike exhaust.

checking out the waste gate location on that ITR, and wondering about boost creep...
If you notice how they mounted the dump tube... That probably the easiest way. Hopefully you dont have AC.. Thats easier

my friend had a boosted ITR and the dump tube came out right in front of the driver side wheel...it was cool when it shot flames
I need to extend mine longer to get it out of the engine bay more but i figure i might as well do something different while im at it... plust shooting flames out the side of my driver side bumper seems like a good idea.
I think that ITR gave me a pretty good idea of what its gonna look like, even though it has the ghetto cast manifold.
Id kinda like to see some pics of HT members... especially with a 94-97 spec bumper, im thinkin its gonna exit right above the lower half of the bumper right beside the corner lense.
