Honest to God i have no idea if the shift light works or not! Sorry, but the previous car i owned the person i bought it from thru it in with the purchase of the car.....by the wires coming from the light it had to be wired in at some point in time! Damn man, thats why i'm only tryin to get $5 bucks for it!!! I have never used it and don't plan to either

Sorry guys for the late response to all pm's! I forgot to let everyone know that i would be in Atlanta for Christmas from friday when i get off work until last nite....i was stayin with my girlfriend and she doesn't have internet at her place! Then when i got home last nite, i was dead tired and had to work today!!!
