Default Oil Viscosity in Synthetic

Is anybody using Mobil 1 Extended Performance in the 5W-30 synthetic or any other 5W-30 synthetic? Honda calls for 5W-20 in the Civic engine, but Mobil doesn't make 5W-20 in Extended Performance, just 5W-20 in regular synthetic which supposedly doesn't have all the "good stuff" that extended does.

Probably won't matter. But I'd follow Honda's recommendations just to not violate warranty. The only advance Extended Performance seems to have is you need to do an oil change with much less frequency than regular synthetic.

But if your manual recommends 5w20, stick with the regular Mobil 1 Synthetic and get the oil changed every 5-10k.
