Default some advice on a decision would be appreciated

Would you pick up a JRSC for a D series that was on a 1999 including all needed hardware for $500? I think I would, but.... i already have a STD manifold and T3 turbo since i was planning on going the turbo route. Any advice on which road to take would be appreciated. (note: i got the turbo and std manifold free...)
I should mention i got a 1990 Civic DX at the moment. And i havnt purchased my MPFI swap parts yet. And it will be a daily driver. only looking for 7-8 psi or so.. nothing monster.

Cost is a big issue for me at the moment... but the visa is always there teasing me.
Thanks,
Dan

i would definately go turbo because if you wanted to you alot more options down the road on a sohc with a turbo setup than with the charger

but that is a damn good deal

if you decide to get the charger send me the mani and t3 i'll pay shipping lol

First, do some research to make sure that thing fits your older D. Seems like there was some fitment issues, with it lining up with your pulleys.

They both have advantages, i'd say the super would be the easiest to setup.

If, you don't want that supercharger, and wanna set me up with that deal i'd like it

Honestly... if you are going to do anything to a honda to gain hp, you want to go turbo. Supercharger is more reliable in most cases, but they wont be able to create a lot of hp in the long run on a honda. Now if you are only going to run 7-8lbs and not want to up the hp at anytime then go with the SC. Problem is boost is addicting and so is hp. Take my word you will want more. With turbo there is always the possibility of more. Now the turbo might cost slightly more, but being a d series you can piece together a kit for rather cheap. Seeing as you dont mind buying used parts Im sure you can piece together the rest of the kit for under a 1K.

Now the visa... dont even start charging parts. Save money and purchase them, because nothing is worse then paying on parts when the car is down!
