itr vs gsr crank
ok spun a rod bearing in my built gsr and need another crank. what would you use? i have pauter rods and 84mm cp pistons. just want some info. i know the itr is weighted a little heavier. should i stick just with another gsr crank or get an itr crank. this motor sees 9grand revs and 30psi of boost
thanks
posted it in here sense i am boosted, think ill get a better response here

i have offers on both right now so i wouldnt be going out of my way to find one. just wondering if i should just stick with an gsr or if theres any benefits of the itr sense i have an offer for both.
my journals have been check and machine shop doesnt want to reuse it. it would have to be cut to far

i know i wouldnt feel a difference and they are close to the same price. i already make 650hp just want something that will last. i read some place that the itr crank can handle a little more with the extra weight esp on high rpms

the itr is acutally cheaper then the gsr. price isnt the issue here. advantages of an itr crank is. esp the added weight of the crank

The itr crank will be more stable at sustained high rpms.In a circuit car the itr would be the best choice hands down.I don't think the weight will hurt performance in a turbo drag car.If you can get the itr crank for a good price then give it a shot.

Do you really think the difference would be anything more than negligible?

no. it has the same stroke as a gsr crank.
