I think this has been discussed before and I appologize if this is a re-hash. I did a search on "Brake Kits" and "Brake Upgrades", but nothing came up.
I have been toying with the idea of upgrading the front brakes on my 2006 SI. I know Brembo has a kit out that will fit the SI, but does anyone else?
The Brembo kit is around $2,600 for the fronts. From what the sales rep told me, it sounds like an awesome kit, but $2,600 is a little expense, in my opinion.
I saw a WRX with Wilwood front brakes a couple days ago and was wondering if anyone here knew if Wilwood sold a kit for 06+ SI.
I still have not decided if I am going to do this or not. The factory brakes do ok, but I have been in a couple situations where a little more braking power would have made things a little less scary.

Why wait? The HFP brake upgrade is basically just high performance pads and slotted rotors . As far as I've heard HFP will not be offering a caliper upgrade.
QUALITY brake upgrades are pricey... but worth it for some. Personally I think that some hawk / equivalent pads would provide enough extra bite for me.

TRE, 95Turbo and 90CRX, thank you for replying with some alternates to the Brembo kit. As I mentioned in my original post, I am not sure I am going to do this yet. However, $1,500 does sound pretty appealing (more so than $2,500). I live in a dense population area and my brakes get a heck of workout just going back and forth to work. Especially if I am driving a little aggressively.

As for your post WILD_WILL, thanks for wasting forum space bro. You sound like my 25 year old daughter, always got to have your opinion heard even if it’s off topic. lol. Well, I don't recall asking for an opinion as to whether I "needed" new brakes. I was asking for alternatives to Brembo "if" I replaced my brakes, as well as hinting at a way to increase my braking power. Now if you had provided an opinion on the different aftermarket solutions to increasing braking power, that I would have appreciated.
Thanks again.

it was a '67 GTO, the first year that they GM had the option for disk brakes in the front, not to mention a vacuum power booster for the brakes (which i also didn't have). at the end of the 1/4 mile pass, damn, i swear i was digging so hard into the brakes it was rediculous.
