Redoing entire brake line system for prop valve. Suggestions?
Hoping to get serious about installing the prop valve this winter. From what I understand, to do it right, the entire hard brake line system needs to be replaced.
So the basic questions can be asked:
What size brake line?
What is the thread size of the softline fittings and master cylinder?
Placement of the prop valve. Within arms reach of the drivers seat? How would you route the lines through the car to get such a placement?
I did some searching, all I could find was post on SS braided lines vs. soft lines.

We did this on an 86 Civic a bunch of years ago. The prop valve was bolted to the tranny tunnel right next to where the shifter comes through. We ran one output of the master cylinder into a T on the firewall, and fed the 2 fronts off this T. We ran the other MC output through the firewall to the prop valve, and out the prop valve into another T to feed the back brakes. There is off the shelf hard brake line in standard sizes that is pretty close to the metric Honda size (don't remember the numbers off the top of my head), and we used adapters at the master cylinder and the calipers/rear wheel cylinders to convert the rest of system to standard fittings.
honda hard line is pretty close to 3/16" with a double inverted flare. its pretty much "standard" size line but a double inverted flare is limited mostly to japanese cars. most of the brake line fittings on honda brake systems are m10 x 1.00.

I've seen this done a couple of times without re-plumbing the entire car. Unless you are hell bent on using all new lines, it isn't necessary. Just a little re-routing and a couple of new flares ought to do it.
