first before you spend the money on a new starter. change out your ground wires, speaking through experience. if ground wires go bad on a honda, the **** won't work.
also, starters typically hesitate when they are going bad, typically.

could be, i have seen it where some times those break. it's a process of elimation.
the gound wires would be the cheapest and easiest way. don't know how much that sensor/switch is, but there are only 3 places you can find it.
1. dealer
2. junk yard
3. ebay

First clean batery terminals.
Check the ground wire from battery to body, and body to tranny.
Put car in nuetral
Use a single jumper cable, one end on battery positive, touch the other end to the spade connecter on the starter solonoid to engage the starter and crank the engine,---(IF the starter and solonoid are good.)
This bypasses f41 ,f39, ignition switch, and starter cut relay-(clutch interlock).

alright just changed all my ground wires, sanded them down and all that good stuff still nothing, i don't get it, it worked fine last night i didn't do anything to it, what else could it be sounds like its not getting any sparks and i know my battery is good bc i had it checked

if it cranked over when you jumpered from batt+ to the solonoid , it means that f41 ,f39, ignition switch, or starter cut relay-(clutch interlock) or clutch switch is bad.
hey whatsup i had the same prob on my ek and it was one little black ground wire its oin the starter and covered by a little rubber peice it always comes loose check this out man if you already havent or just get a workout and jumpstart it everyday.
clutch switch isn't tough, just a pain to get to. I just cut mine out and connected the wires, everything turned out fine. Of course, in my case, that wasn't the problem, it was a bad ground

No, that means your starter is perfect. It suggests that the problem is further downstream. Ignition switch, main relay, fuses. Check em all
