as the title says. bought a used 94 teg auto ignition cylinder from a local wrecker and it had no key. how can you remove the tumbler out if i don't have the key? it says on the manual you need to have it on the "1" position.

Try that, there is a small pin you have to push out and it lets the tumbler assy, come out. Just like it says pay attention to the order and orientation the parts come out.

i saw the pin and i pressed on it w/ a small punch. still did not come out.
do you think a locksmith can just do it for me?

I would say so, if you take them both switches, they would probably do it for a little bit of nothing, if you dont have the key in the correct position that pin wont come out, if you have a local locksmith try that, i wouldnt think it would be much if you took them both switches and they didnt have to do it in the car.
