Default AC in an EF with B-series swap

What bracket is used to put the AC back in an EF after a B-series swap has been done. I know Hasport offers a bracket for like 200$, but if ya'll know a cheaper way to do it, let me know.

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas!

Use a P54 ac bracket or the the Hasport EFBAC bracket...(what I'm doing...)

Check it out here.....

Or ....P54 Del Sol front driver’s side mount bracket (Honda P/N 38930-P54-000)
(p54 copy on Ebay)

HCP mount.....

BTW, why do you need AC? Georgia is just as cool and dry as Houston, right?

i have the hasport kit and if you decide to go hasport, i would recommend putting some loctite on the adjuster pulley bracket allen head bolts because one of mine fell out and the second one was about to fall out.

Cuz when I had my D15, I also had a girlfriend who bitched about the weather...so I paid like 100$ to get it recharged, 50$ to replace one of the hoses, and 150$ for the clutch on the compressor. About a month later, I pulled the engine, and started the process of putting in the LS motor. I'm gonna use that A/C for all it's worth.

In addition, I'm in the Corps of Cadets and I'm required to be in uniform most of my days...and I hate driving down the interstate getting sweaty as ***** in uniform. Just feels nasty. most of the time, though, I'll have the windows down. A/C just burns so much gas, and takes away so much power.

Oh, and the girlfriend...i gotta thank her for dipping out of the relationship. I was saving for a ring. When she split, I had alot of cash to blow on the Civ...

Houston I thought was dry? I know it's hot as hell...I drove GA to AZ and back once. There's actually a warrant for my arrest in Texas cuz I never paid a speeding ticket about 2 or 3 years ago...

The Del Sol (D series) doesn't work, but the P54 96' Del Sol (vtec B16) does. Of course, if you are boosting, AC can be cramped in any case.... The P54 AC bracket is actually part of the front driver’s side mount for the B16....

Well, I'm running the B18 LS motor...not sure how that left driver's side mount would work with it if it's a part of the B16 mount... (hope that makes sense)

Not sure if I'll run a turbo...not sure how I want to build the engine up, yet.

The Hasport and HCP brackets are based on the P54 pattern....

If you go with the Hasport, Rick will cut you a deal at SpeedShopOnline on Ebay....
(My Bro from CR-X Central in the Bay Area....) Great guy, will work with you...

Inform me on that P54's mount, though. How will this affect going into my car?

Well, I haven't used it but that's what most people used before the other brackets were available. As far as Rick's pricing, he can go somewhat cheaper than the other guys, but it is brand new parts so we're not talking crazy cheap....Manufacturer limits what they can advertise prices at....

p54 mount should still be able to use either sanden or matsushita (however you spell it) ac compressors with no problems?
